Black Katz Cobra Arrives In New Jersey!

good god!

It arrived! And holy cobra Batman, that thing is insane. Something about a cell phone photo that adds a certain truth to stuff. The finish is great. And we are on a Hail Mary Roadtrip to lake Hopatcong today to pick up what will be the first classic boat of its kind. Trust me, no one will see this train wreck happening. AND we get to drool all over the Black Katz Cobra.. Where have I heard that before? Is it a movie? nooooooooo…mmmmm. Oh wait.. Ya, different but the same!

Engine test and maybe a little soak

its amazing.. And a ton cooler in these photos.

WOW

I am now! HaHa I was never bothered by which way was right, Northsouth or Eastwest, but at least make them the same! My OCD makes want to hop a plane and fix them…and see the boat!
Now I’m off to the garage to organize something to get my mind off this!

Yep me toooo! Even the forward ring is miss aligned.

If I’m not mistaken, a spreader bar was sent with the Cobras for the rear lifting.

I would be more concerned about hooking up the lifting rings to the lifting straps without cloth protection to avoid scratching the chrome on the lifting rings. Ugh.

I still like “Roberta’s” better! That ol’ Caddy tail light’s just right.(in my book)

We will miss her in Lake Geneva. Not only her distinct look but the sound of that motor is something else. It reminds of the old Thursday night drag boat races at Blarney’s Island in Fox Lake .

    Again….very beautiful boat. Stunning.

But what the hell with that trailer. It is worse than the other one. It is possible to have a trailer made that is BOTH perfectly functional and beautiful.

This trailer looks like it should be hauling construction debris and old toilets to the dump.
