Wow! Even I didn’t know some of that stuff about Michigan. No wonder we have such a good time boating. Come join us at Boat the Blue and you WILL have a great week. We will show you what we have been working on for the last three years!

I know! Who knew. You think they would at least talk about it in the comment section from time to time? Go figure.

These guys have really gone overboard on getting people up to their show. I got a whole packed of stiff in a plastic envelope last week. Since I can’t go, it just added bulk to the recycling package…Hopefully, I’ll make it in another year

PURE MICHIGAN !! The best place in the world to boat. Although the season is much shorter than other parts of the country. Its like when we were younger and had to have a pretty girl home by midnight. You appreciated her and did all you could in a limited amount of time. I hope to see you all in Port Huron in Sept. Keep us up to date Greg.

Why is this the first I have heard of this? If I bring a boat for those waters it would be the Penn Yan, and it would be coming from Penn Yan, so wouldn’t that be taking my boat FROM home?

This is all way too confusing for a Monday morning. Wait, it is Monday right?

On second thought, the last time I brought that boat to an ACBS International, she didn’t get a single point from the judges. I should probably buy a new boat for this event, or at least clean out the assorted trash, leaves, and fish guts beforehand.

MFine OOOOR you could bring two pounds of thick cut bacon, cooked just right, and for that small fair be chauffeured around in my ragged hole in the water for the week, or at least when we are not gorging on bacon, oh and Matt you cant come you eat HEALTHY, remember no green juice allowed.

      Five gallon buckets are allowed.

      EEH

If I come, I will driving through Canada, so I will have to verify if I can bring home cured bacon across the border. If so, it will be a LOT more than 2 lbs since I make it in batches of 30-50 lbs.

If I setup a propane griddle and give out free bacon and beer, do you think I could win the peoples choice award without even bringing a boat? 😀

Baseball bat? Do you mean The Persuader?

I have to bring that. How else do you persuade the fish to stop flopping around?

Glad I will be bringing my own ride*(^&*&&(* we know how that goes, right Chad, learned my lesson about NOT taking a boat to Michigan if you want to get out on the water. eye roll; eye roll; :):):)

I sure wish the ACBS would get rid of the “registration fee” BS. I realize it has come way down from the $100 a few years ago but why not just build it in to the cost of the events.

Whoa !!! I didn’t know a boat show was even coming to Port Huron the real center of the world in Michigan and the Thumb. The locals in Port Huron really know how to have a Party. They’ve been RULING IT for years with the Port Huron to Mackinac race. They can really SEND IT!!!

Cool video on the “Boat the Blue” site promoting the event. Unbeknownst to me until watching it, my cottage at The Old Club makes a couple cameo appearances in it as well.
