CCCCLAYTON. Man it’s cold!
Dang. It’s snowing and cold for us southerners. But thanks to Jack at st Lawrence it felt like a warm place.
What an amazing place with some amazing boats to see.
This very cool 1948 chris craft runabout under construction.
It’s like going to the boat show here in the middle of winter. Dang! And we have the top to boot! Wooohooo! More on st Lawrence at a later date. Now off the antique boat America! Then home… Slowly home!
That is not that cold. There is hardly any ice on the water, only in the back bays. In the old days you could drive to Canada on the River in your car, because there was an 80 below wind chill.
Don’t forget your ABA faux woodgrain coffee mug.
I was there last March – friggin’ cold still. But I’m from Southern California so when it drops below 60-degrees I’m looking for a parka.
Don Price gave us the grand tour – what a nice guy!
What are you talking about cold. Its balmy today. T-Shirt weather here in Ottawa. Ice is melting. Great day to work on the boat.
Be sure to tuck in your “SKIRT” when you get into the Woody Boatermobile.
Safe drive home.
It is actually really warm this winter and the snow you got was just a light dusting. It is usually a lot worse on both counts.
You will even notice Jack is not wearing a coat or boots! It is practically summer like weather there this weekend
