I Killed The Classifieds Page!

Ineeda Parts 2015 -2019 RIP
I am done! That’s It! If you have been to the classified page lately? Wait, no you haven’t, I killed it a week ago and no one even noticed. Anyway if you had, you would see that it’s a train wreck and all messed up. Why? Because its a crappy template and well. AHHHHHH a magnet for every aft-wipe freeloader concert ticket sales people. And tours. You never see it, because I spend an hr a day whacking the mole and bashing them down. For what? Use ebay? This is nuts and was not serving anyone.

First Factory Boat Photo found on ebay!
Sure once every couple months someone would sell something. But AHHHHHHHHH! now the site needs an SSL certificate which we did for Woody Boater. And would require more work on the classified page than its worth. So I killed it. Dead. Gone. All 100 of you that used it for the past 5 years. 100! DEAD! DEADER THAN A DOOR NAIL. GONE. GOOD BYE!
HAPPY HEADER DAY – HIT REFRESH AND SEE SOME OF THIS YEARS HEADERS!
My human noticed it when he went to post an ad for those 6 volt bilge pumps. He couldn’t find it and thought he was stupid. I didn’t argue.
You mean you have more than one for sale?
Oh darn ! I had been watching something on there ….
JK – never used it.
I stopped there on occasion to see what’s new but it wasn’t my go-to for parts. Matt made a business decision because at the end of the day, this is a business.
I checked it once in a great while….won’t miss it…just add on something people will appreciate and rush to read…like Troy’s Great Loop Log….hint hint! Make it happen Troy.
75 degrees in ole Va…going boating! Does canoeing in ABS count?
John in Va.
The was a Classified page?
The only real reason that I will miss it is that I could “Log in” on Classified and did not need to do Captcha when I commented on the regular site.
That gray and white little utility that was on there for 2 years was originally a rare tiller steer model. Alast never got a response to both of my emails.
PSST…….hey dude……check it out….concert tickets…..Englebert Humperdinck…..front row center man….these are chill…..971.555.1230….leave a message to Rudy…..
All for the google overlords
Man ! There was a Ford 4 barrel carburetor on there. Ive been watching it for a year or so. Oh well you snooze you loose. Just don’t drop the whole thing Matt.
not to be a jerk but…. that header with the Chris Craft for $805 for 1941 was interesting…..
In 2018 money, that $805 is…………..$13,751.
So uh, where can I buy a new wood boat for that price????? And why EXACTLY is a new ski boat $45,000 plus?????
And folks wonder why the younger set is not real keen on getting interested in boating, wood boating etc…..
Wait What? That header “Betting on the Pumps” , filling up at Buzzard Point, the gas pump says a price of $3.10
What decade was that photo taken anyways? Is Buzzard Point in Azerbaijan or something?
Out here on the West Coast where we consistently get screwed with the price of fuel, last year I paid $5.50 at the lakes.
$3.10. Jeez.
i got a great deal in the classifieds on a new rebuilt gray marine engine for only $475.00, the add had a ’32 C-C utility with it but I waited to late and the boat had been cut up.
That’s sad it was cut up I did some research and realized the boat was originally a very rare tiller steer 1934ish Chris Craft that someone added regular steering to. Only about 60 of these were built. That now makes two I know of one in a muesem and one sort of local. Heres one that’s about an hour away from me. One of my favorite models. http://www.carolinaclassicboatsandcars.com/item_detail.php?item_id=314
that’s it. the guy had to move and couldn’t take it with him so he cut part of the bow off and you can guess what happen to the rest. wish I hadn’t waited two years to call him.
