Meet Mahogany Outfitters, Guaranteed To Make You Smile.
If you are a regular here on Woody Boater, first thank you, and second, you may have seen a new banner on the upper left part of the website. Now, that banner clicks to just the boat part of their universe. And it is a Universe of wonderfulness that Mahogany Outfitters is part of.

Turns out the owner, Dr. Roger Pecina likes to restore and save things. No, we really mean it, like its serious stuff, like restoring communities and small town history. A Sinclair gas Station, or a Diner, Barbershop among other things.

There is even a web site on the topic. Now.. You might ask, what drives Roger? Well, he is a Dentist by trade, and his passion is restoring and preserving your smile, and once you have great teeth, what better to smile about than our history and a way of small town life being preserved. You could say in a way, Dr Pecina has restored the smiles of an entire community.

And you thought this was just about another guy with some boats for sale. Click on the banner and see whats there. Lots of cool boats for sure, and Roger of course buys them. He loves a good story, which in the end isnt that really what this is all about. We are proud and thrilled to have Mahogany Outfitters as a part of Woodyboaterville.

Load up the wagon! Where headed to Percinaville!
I want to ad that Roger and Mahogany Outfitters is a major sponsor and involved in all of our Michigan Chapter boat shows. We greatly appreciate his support of the classic boat hobby for all of the WoodyBoaters in Michigan!
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Roger’s museum twice, and it is indeed awesome. Classic Boating eye candy of every shape, size, and style every where you look. Definitely worth a trip, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to Roger for doing so much to preserve, and display for all to enjoy, these boats we all love.
That is some serious Soul restoring.
I like the good doctor man’s style! Very cool boats and that highboy in the gas station just WOW.
I met Roger back in the Spring of 2014 I think it was, when our Water Wonderland Chapter held a Presidents Tour there.
I since visit with Roger a couple times and got to know him, and to appreciate his love for our hobby.
About this time last year I bought my 1995 Coronado from Roger, and we then struck up a conversation about my involvement in the hobby. Roger asked me to help him behind the scenes, to look into how he can better serve and support our classic boating hobby.
I am proud to call Roger my broker, fellow classic boater, but most of all my friend.
To be accepted as a major sponsor on this site is hard, and I am glad that Matt has got to know Roger, and what he has done for our hobby.
Is that a GrayMarine 327 I see on the skid in that last picture? As I often say – ” Cars, boats, planes, – you name it – it’s all the same sickness!” What a great way to give back to a community, pursue your dreams and have fun. Wow! Saving and restoring things gets in our blood, but he takes it to an entirely new level. Thanks for featuring this. One more “must see” when we get back to that part of the country.
Roger is a pure Thoroughbred
