Interesting how a name on a boat can make anything that much cooler
We have arrived in Higginsville and are getting adjusted to the one hour difference. Surprisingly harder than the usual 3 hour difference when traveling to the West Coast. Ya wake up at 4Am instead of 5 AM then think, ugh, I will just shut my eyes for a second and BAM its 7AM which is really 8AM and well.. You get sloppy sausage.
Not cleaned up or adjusted. Just raw sausage
Which is just as good as regular cleaned up sausage. Just not, well, cleaned up. Maybe I have taken this metaphor to the limit. Regardless, its tid bits of incomplete stories. All scrambled up to make at least a morning treat with your coffee varnish.

I apologize for the tid bits today. Its so great to see family, and eat. Eat, and eat some more. I am planning on a trip to The WW2 museum and will report on that, and do some Higgins searching. Hope you all are having a peaceful Holiday.

I don’t know if you really know the woman in the header is named Peggy, but I’m pretty sure she’s posing in front of Devil’s Lake, Wisconsin, near Baraboo, where I grew up. It’s been a no motor boat lake since the mid 60’s. But it’s so beautiful that The University of Wisconsin travels there for a crew race every year, even though the campus is in Lake Mendota in Madison.
When you go to WW II museum, plan on spending plenty time and read all of the boards. You can go out to lake front and take a ride on the PT, don’t know cost but boat was at Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival in October. Friend did ride, said boat was modified and is 7 feet shorter than original so they don’t have to employ full time captain. I guess they will tell you about it.
