You might be wondering why Woody Boater is a little wonky these days. Late stories, stories that are rushed, and a little more clumbsey than normal. Also the emails come in a day late because they go out at 8 Am east coast time, and I am still in a coma. Well, it’s simple. I am in New Orleans and trying to keep all the plates spinning. I am kinda doing it, but not doing any of it well. Except, I am eating well, thats for sure. And looks like we will be here alot, since one of the heirs to our throne is moving here.

There is some amazing archicture here for sure. Like owning a Woody Boat but on land.
So, better get back on my diet. Now if there was only some water around this town, it would be a perfect place to have a Woody Boat? has anyone heard of anyplace around New Orleans that has water? All I have seen is apatisers and cocktails?
Google “PT-305”
Now there’s a New Orleans wooden boat, and available for rides! I doubt their galley food is what you’re getting used to.
We have spoken to the museum and all set for next time. House hunting for my son has been insane. Stunning homes. The details are amazing.
Find this vendor. Bring a chair. Gator on a stick and cocktails right next door. What else do you need?
Oh my! Today’s special crab cake over dirty rice sounds good. Too bad I can’t get there in time for lunch.
Take the alligator tour of the local bayou. It’s about a 20 minute ride from downtown and well worth it. They load you on a big pontoon (sorry!) boat and a local Cajun will show you more gators, wildlife and really cool old fishing shacks than you could ever imagine are out there. We did it about 20 years ago. I hope it is still there.
Nawlins ??? You need to be in ‘lanta where the Gators take on the Wolverines in the Peach Bowl at noon… Go ! Gators.
Gators….your not from wooden boat country….Michigan!!!
You betcha…But right now you got us by 4 points
Madisonville Wooden Boat Show on the North Shore…more woody luggers and trawlers than you can shake a stick at! All full of food and drink. In the Fall.
