The 15th Annual Hangover Elixir Story
One would think we would all learn by this age. Moderation. But nooooooooo, Not when it comes to classic boats and a good old classic holiday office party that we can just hang out and be ourselves. Yes….”someone” took some copies again on the copier of themselves. And yes, Mr B runs when I say “Troy” now. But he will get over it. Troy that is, Mr B? The most amazing part of all this is that we are all still here after 15 years of this. And for that I am deeply grateful.

Paaaaaaallllleeeeeease Dad, turn off the laptop!
Okay, okay this is the drunken crying part where I tell you how I feel. You guys are THE BEST. This is the time of year that I wonder what the hell am I doing? Why? There is no boating so to speak of to take pictures and feel alive enough to write a story, and yesterday was a sobering reminder of why we all do this. Because of each other. What a strange universe we all live in. Friends I have not met, but consider pals? Showing up to a comment section with party favors? Okay maybe I am still drunk? And I don’t even drink.
And good time was had by all!
I did notice some misspilled words yesterday, including mine.
Shirley part of the coding?
Yes sir, carry on with the craziness and mix in a few great classic boat stories now and then. We will be there!
I’m a newbie but regular follower now. The interesting stories (and side stories), the wealth of collective knowledge and experiences, and the humorous tangents seems to mix the perfect cocktail.
Is there a WoodyBoater signature drink?
I’m curious the number of followers and the geographic areas WoodyBoater covers

At one time there was an App for that, but it did not work out.
We also do an annual stats event. Basecly Worldwide. Around 200,000 readers who visit around 2 million times a year is the big number. 55 Gigabytes of photos, 15 years NOT MISSED ONE DAY. You can read more in the ABOUT section.
Woke up to pee. It’s still dark out here. Hit the yard light and it’s still snowing. No reason to stay up.
We are morphing into a blizzard party to lead into Christmas.
Mother nature is telling us to stay home. Good news boat is in a shed where I will not have to remove feet of snow.
Merry White Christmas to all.
Another great party Matt. Was Lucy at the party? If she was was she has some splanin to do. A virtual hangover is not as bad as the real thing thank god. I like the phrase “Friends I have not met but consider pals”. I was hoping to meet some of you guys at Algonac last June, but it was rumored that you were at a strip joint in Detroit that day. What the hell a show is a show. Merry Christmas to all.
Mark: I have pictures!!
Come to Dora this year and I will share.
I don’t feel so good. Anyone know how I ended up in the bilge of Sweet Pea? Also…..where are my cloths?
Glad we finally made it after a looong trip. Just rounded up the last of the Laker Girls. Gotta head back to wine country before this Arctic blast kicks up. If you find Wayne tell him he’s on his own. I think he left with Deano. Thanks for a fun time.
Sorry I didn’t make it to the party. It’s nice that people who attended could have partied so hard that they were off the rails. And the ones that didn’t could have stayed on the rails. One of the benefits of having a party at the Reedville Rail Yard!!!
Great Party. I was up at 3 am this morning taking Bethany and her mother of the craziest Bomb Cyclone trip of all time. With all that weather coming they got the 5am out of Richmond and no problems landed ahead of schedule in f…ing DETROIT….beat the storm out of there on a shot turnaround and made it to Salt Lake City ahead of schedule…the draw….first grand baby’s first Christmas….WTF? I would not have even gotten out of bed for the trip to the airport on this day for a Riva barn find. Oh well…different strokes, great party…6 am arrived at the boat, slept 5 hours…back home in rain. Merry Merry!@
