Home of the plazAburger.. No fast food on the trip.. Worth the stop in Madison which is a surprisingly charming city in between two small lakes… Now on to the big auction… Dinner tonight with texx and krunch!

The Glacier Lakes Chapter of the ACBS welcomes you to Wisconsin and notes that of all the places you have traveled through on your way to Mecum Mecca, you chose Madison to stop for body fuel. Good Choice. We have a helluva boat show there in August each year. Did you even bother to stop and check the beautiful boating lakes? I'll bet not. Stop on your way back and see what the rest of the country is missing. At least you found the food. Next stop might be the more than adequate supply of excellant beer, brats, and boating.
Would love to have come with you Matt but I'm still waiting:(:(:( maybe IF I am REALLY lucky, which has not been the norm to date I may get one crusie in on her before I have to winterize her. After this adventure wife said the next one you better plan on living on.
Wait one darn minute! You mean to tell me that there is one place that I can have the golden trio .. Beer brats and boating!!!!! Oh my dear cheese loving god! You all should have a show called that. Ditch the ACBS and sign up miller brewing and johnsonville….. Build it and they will come!!!
Of all the possibilities in Cheddar Land, you choose to grab a burger in the People's Republic of Madison??? (Sixty squre miles, surrounded by reality.) You couldn't find a place with a nice walleye fillet (fried, of course) that was caught on a Thompson or a Streblow on the lake next door?? Ya sure, I know you washed it down wit a Leinie or a Point, but come on… Madison?
Hey!Hey!Hey!There are plenty of places you can slurp tea in that People's Republic.
