And You Thought Living In DC Was All About Politics!

Ham, Kelsey, Shawn at helm, and Danielle out for a nice short sunset run

Last night when I got home, my son and his girlfriend had come home from LA for a short bit. Our pals Shawn and Danielle happened to be taking Suzy for Jimmy the new owner out for her first run of the summer with some new bottom paint.

Headed out through the channel to the Potomac.

Ham and Kelsey having a great time.

The plan is to let her soak up a but and then make a 6 hr cruise to Reedville from DC down the Potomac River.  But last night it was about a short sunset cruise. All while folks sit in traffic on 95, we are out on the water taking in the magic of the Potomac River and the area. Doesn’t sound like Washington DC does it. Oh and 10 Days til the magic of Algonac!

WAIT did I miss something? I don’t remember hearing anything about you selling Suzy.

Heck just a few stories ago you were talking about buy her a Pink Boat.

Wow, I did not even know you could do this in the USA. This changes everything.

While some might argue the morality and legality of selling a wife, I am just glad there wasn’t another pus video.

Beautiful boat! I know the Potomac gets pretty salty around Reedville (I am across the river near Tall Timbers). I was wondering….what special precautions do you take to minimize the effects of salt water corrosion?

Say whaaaaaaaaat? Selling Suzy??? That gets slipped out like a meh…. who cares and actually it’s the biggest story in… well Smithville and Usville for that matter. Explanation required!

The Potamac here in question is about 15 miles south of DC. Very fresh water. So all is good there. Down in Reedville its brackash to salty. We have no issues as long as we wash down the boat and flush it. I have had show boats in that water for years and you can not see any 0 Nada issues. Its all about staying on top of it.

HA, Suzy is a very special boat that most likly will never see a classified page. She already has another buyer in place. There is a small group of us that use each others boats and take care of them like. Its all in the family and they are used and loved, the way the magodanys intended.

Well then I respectfully request to be included in that small group. Is there a formal application form somewhere? lol
I wish her new caretakers nothing but the best.

I’m confused – but then, my wife already knows that… Is it just me or does Kelsey look a lot like Suzy??? I guess good taste runs in the family!
