Well, she is finally of legal age to drink. 21. I know this is kinda taboo for many of you, but love is ageless and yes, if you do the math, 38 years of marriage, I married her before she was even born. Hey, when you know you know. Okay, enough of the waggery.
I found her at a convent in Cape Town. Not ai, no photo shop. Yup, thats the Boatress on the left.

My Boatress is having a B Day today, and in the WoodyBoater universe, it ‘s a national holiday. We will be having a parade, and fireworks tonight. NOT A METAPHOR Dirt bags! Real fireworks. NO, NOT A FIGHT, just fireworks. Like Boom ahhhh kinda firworks. NOT A METAPHOR! Oh just forget it.
I wonder how she needed a new knee?
I would say a boat ride. But she just had a knee replacement. I know, at such a young age? So, boat ride, no dancing tonight. Just a joyous day, and a complete day just about her. It is BOATRESS DAY!
I have caught her watching HOW TO video’s though.
Being married to me, kinda speeds up the aging process.
It’s all about family for her.

(Not that there aren’t days when you both don’t contemplate what it might have been like if you’d married some boring, filthy rich guy instead of idiots like us who buy old marinas, marine railways and bring home large pieces of campfire kindling and exclaim, “Just look at those lines and the potential!”.
I just know that I’ve been informed I’m a bad influence and there are several husbands that aren’t allowed to be around me because Patti shouldn’t let me do the things that I do!

Happy birthday to Suzy! When I turned 30, Crew Chief had the bakery put “Happy 29th birthday, again” on the cake. He said the young gal behind the counter didn’t get. The older one got a good laugh out of it. So happy 21st to Suzy – wish you many more to come!
